We just finished tests on our dredge design in the flume tank at Fisheries and Marine Institute of Memorial University. In the tests we did look at how the dredge bag operated in a current equal to the drag speed in regular fishing trips. In short the dredge and bag operated perfectly, bag was well open, dredge kept the course straight forward and water flow on both outside and inside of the dredge and bag was good. Our captain of the fishing vessel Klettur finally gave the design a formal name - the "Berg´s plog"
